SCC Offers OSHA 10-Hour Training

 Job Safety & Health – It is The Law!

The 10-Hour course introduces you to the OSHA Act and OSHA’s General Industry Standards. Topics include: Introduction to OSHA, Walking-Working Surfaces, Personal Protective Equipment, Hazard Communications, Machine Guarding, Materials Handling, Exit Routes, Emergency Action Plans & Health Programs, Electrical Basics & Electrical Safety, and Fall Protection.

The 2-day workshop will be offered Thursday, April 25 & Friday, April 26, 2013 from 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. The fee for this workshop is $125.00, which includes materials related to General Industry Regulations and lunch. Upon successful completion of 2-day course, attendees will receive OSHA 10-Hour card within 2-3 weeks. Register by April 18, 2013 - space is limited. The workshop will be held at the Business & Industry Training Center at Shawnee Community College, Ullin, Illinois.
